Ballroom Dancing in Houston
All of our dance lessons are private dance lessons and open to students of all ages and all levels from beginners to professionals. Having your own partner is not required, we can provide one for you.
We teach a variety of dance styles for our ballroom and Latin dance lessons including Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble, Jive, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Swing, and Argentine Tango. Dance Latin America specializes in personalized training, so that our students can fully utilize their abilities, develop new skills, and achieve their goals at their own pace.
Our dance lessons are by appointment only. We also provide ballroom dance lessons on location in Houston for those that have a dance space or location they like to practice in.

The best way to get started is with our new student introductory offer. All lessons at Dance Latin America are by appointment only. You can call us at (346) 610-7349, or fill out our contact form to schedule your first lesson.
We recommend you wear comfortable clothes that allows you to move easily. For shoes, we recommend comfortable shoes with leather soles for men, and shoes with a back for women. Dance shoes have a suede sole, which is best for movement. We don’t recommend athletic shoes or shoes with rubber soles, as they will cause too much friction with the floor, and make it difficult for you to move and do turns. We don’t allow stilettos, shoes with sharp heels, or shoes with metal bottoms, as they can damage the dance floor, and could possibly cause injuries. If you’re located in Houston, TX, then Dance Galaxy is a local store that carries several brands of ballroom and Latin dance shoes.
You don’t need to bring a dance partner, though you are welcome to bring a partner with you to your dance lesson if you have one.
You don’t need to have any dance experience. Dance Latin America is open to dancers of all levels, from beginner to professional. We specialize in creating lessons that are personalized, so that you can learn and develop your dance skills with confidence, at your own pace.
Each dance lesson is 45 minutes long.
